ASDA Submits Gasworks Site Plans
ASDA Stores Ltd have submitted a planning application to Barnet Council for a mixed-use regeneration development on the former gas works site off Albert Road, New Barnet. The proposals will create 400 new jobs and will help to meet borough housing requirements
ASDA Launches Public Consultation
ASDA has added two extra days to the public exhibition to provide the people of New Barnet with all the latest information regarding proposals for a new ASDA store in the town.
ASDA is proposing to build a new 40,000 sq ft (sales area) store, which will sell a full-range of goods as well as our popular George range of clothing.
The regeneration of this under-used site and the potential for a step-change in the quality of New Barnet town centre continue to be key objectives for ASDA.
